About Georgia
I am an experienced piano teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience across conservatoires, music schools, private teaching and one-to-one tuition.
My academic and professional background spans Musicology, Recording Arts and Composition for Film & TV, and I am a classically trained, diploma-level pianist. Alongside teaching, I work professionally in composition and music engraving, which allows me to bring together performance, theory and creativity in my lessons.
I teach children, teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to advanced students.
I have extensive experience preparing students for ABRSM, Trinity and MTB practical and theory examinations, as well as GCSE Music. Exam preparation is always approached as part of a broader musical education rather than simply learning how to pass an exam.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, level and musical interests.
We work on technique, repertoire, sight-reading, interpretation and effective practice strategies, with a strong focus on musical understanding and steady progress.
Lessons are structured and productive, but also relaxed, enjoyable and engaging. I encourage students to understand how and why things work, so they can become more confident and independent musicians.

Perfect! Georgia knows her stuff and delivers information in a very understandable way. She is brilliant at explaining things. An amazing pianist but what sets her apart is her joy at teaching. She seems like she is having fun and comes across as a very happy person which makes her very infectious to learn from
Perfect! Georgia is fantastic, always attentive and really explains things well. She is super responsible and followed up on what I’d learned to make sure I really got it, giving me feedback and a gentle push when I needed it. I always have a clear part to practice on.
Highly recommended!Perfect! Subject : Music

I have been studying composition with Georgia for more than a year now. Her musical talent and knowledge is beyond dispute, but what makes her teaching great is her patience, flexibility and creative ways of explaining complicated concepts in a simple manner. I would highly recommend her!
Reliable, punctual and provides an individualised approach to learning piano. Would highly recommended!
Georgia is an outstanding teacher. She helped my son complete his grade 6. Her friendly and enthusiastic approach made my son have a positive exam experience. Now we are really looking forward to working towards the next grade.
