About Marina
I have been teaching piano in London since 2010 and have experience of teaching Music at a secondary school. Also, I worked with children with special needs, particularly with ASD, and took 2 courses to enhance my skills and knowledge on this matter. I prepare my pupils for piano grades 1-8 and music theory grades 1-5 examinations with ABRSM. Every summer, I organise a concert for my pupils to allow them to practise public performance, and I also make an annual video concert which can be found on YouTube as the "High Point Music concert".

I studied piano performance at Vologda Music College (currently College of Arts) in the Russian Federation, where I was taught the methodology of piano pedagogics developed by Heinrich Neuhaus in Russia, and prefer to use this method when teaching my piano pupils.

Perfect! Marina has been able to adapt her teaching to allow me to develop at my own pace whilst still giving me the help I need to develop my playing skills. She is able to work with the music I like to play and give me enough challenges to improve. Working with an older pupil with no ambition beyond being able to enjoy playing is a challenge Marina has risen to and I am pleased to say that I am slowly improving
