About Xi
I began learning to play the piano at 6 years old. I graduated from the prestigious Shanxi University. I then continued my studies under Professor Sun Weiquan of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. I have performed live as a solo act as well as support for bands and artists including Steve Mackay of The Stooges, an award-winning Elvis tribute artist, and Glasgow’s own Emma Pollock of The Delgados.
During my 13 years teaching in Shanghai, I have also held annual concerts for my students to perform for friends and family. A tradition I hope to start again soon here in Glasgow.
