I passionately disagree with being hard on students, it kills passion, motivation, and quality of learning. Making a healthy challenge of the learning process is vital to becoming skilled. It's never too late to start learning either. I almost lost motivation to play when I was younger because of the pressure I felt to play. As soon as I began to learn at my own pace, my motivation increased, as did my skills, and I now feel great pride in my progression. I have mastered many pieces that i never thought i could be able to play.

I have experience teaching adults children to read sheet music and how to employ basic and some advanced techniques. I have access to high quality workbooks for all levels of learning which I will provide as scanned or emailed copies of the relevant pages for free. I am able to teach you any full piece or song of your choosing, and I am able to acquire high quality copies of the sheet music. I employ a low pressure approach to teaching.
