About Kendra
I am a piano tutor with 8 years of experience and a Doctor of Philosophy in Piano Performance. I enjoy helping students discover that learning piano becomes rewarding through consistent practice and encouraging guidance.
My lessons are carefully planned to match every learner's goals and abilities. I believe steady improvement comes from clear instruction, enjoyable practice, and a positive learning environment.
Outside teaching, I enjoy composing piano works, accompanying vocal performances, and exploring different keyboard styles. These experiences help me create inspiring lessons filled with creativity and practical musicianship.

My piano lessons help students build strong musical foundations while making every class enjoyable and engaging. We practice finger independence, rhythm reading, note recognition, scales, chord progressions, pedal technique, dynamics, sight reading, and expressive playing through carefully planned activities and enjoyable music. Every lesson develops confidence alongside technical improvement.
As learners continue progressing, we work on improvisation, duet playing, accompaniment patterns, ear training, musical phrasing, performance preparation, creative interpretation, and confident stage presentation. I provide supportive feedback and structured practice routines that help students improve steadily while enjoying every achievement.
My goal is to help students become expressive pianists who combine technical skill with musical creativity. Every lesson develops confidence, performance ability, and a lifelong appreciation for piano music.
