About Kate
I am a Primary School Teacher, who has a great interest in Music. From the age of 10, I began piano lessons (some would consider me a late starter) and I just absolutely loved everything about learning new songs and being able to perform for my friends and family. When I began my teaching job I took over the schools choir, accompanying them for many performances and musicals. At home in Ireland, I had my own Piano School of Music, which I taught at full capacity for the last few years.
As a Primary School Teacher, I am used to working with children who I know too well can get bored easily. My aim for each lesson is to make it fun, creative and enjoyable so every pupil enjoys their piano playing learning experience.

Qualified with the Royal Irish Academy of Music in 2018. My previous work has been mainly based with beginners where I strive to add a fun element to piano teaching to keep children interested. Many of my past pupils have qualified with distinction in all piano exams.
I teach classical, pop-rock and musical theatre. My lessons are usually 30 minutes to an hour depending on the level of the pupil.
My lessons can be taught online or in-person (my home or pupil's home)
