About Tessa
My interest in piano started through a fascination with melody, harmony, and the ability of music to communicate emotions. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music followed by a Master’s Degree in Piano Pedagogy and Interpretation. During my 12 years of teaching experience, I have guided students through many different stages of musical development.
I believe successful teaching combines patience, encouragement, and clear instruction. My teaching style focuses on helping learners understand musical concepts while developing practical performance skills. I enjoy creating lessons that challenge students while keeping them motivated.
Outside teaching, I continue studying piano repertoire, attending concerts, and exploring educational approaches that support musical growth. These experiences help me bring fresh ideas into every lesson. Helping students discover their abilities and achieve meaningful progress remains one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

My piano lessons are designed to help students build strong musical foundations while enjoying every stage of the learning process. We focus on note reading, rhythmic accuracy, finger strength, hand coordination, keyboard awareness, and listening development through structured exercises and engaging musical pieces. Every lesson supports steady progress and growing confidence.
As students become more experienced, we explore harmonic understanding, accompaniment patterns, sight-reading techniques, dynamic control, pedal usage, musical phrasing, and recital preparation. Lessons are adapted to individual goals and interests so learners can develop their abilities in a meaningful and enjoyable way. Consistent feedback helps students improve with clarity and confidence.
I believe piano education should encourage creativity, discipline, and self-expression. My goal is to help students become independent musicians who enjoy learning, performing, and exploring music. Every lesson promotes artistic growth and long-term musical success.
