About Maheesha
My music teacher inspired my love for piano, and now I want to share that gift with my students. I focus on building strong foundations while making lessons fun and approachable. Using interactive exercises and guided practice, I help beginner to intermediate students gain confidence and enjoy music theory.

My lessons focus on building strong piano foundations and making music theory enjoyable. I use visual aids, guided practice, and interactive exercises to teach notes, rhythms, scales, and chords. Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes. I have completed Grade 6 practical and theory exams through IWMS (Sri Lanka). Lessons are suitable for beginner to intermediate students of all ages, helping them gain confidence and a solid understanding of piano and music theory .
