About Roshni
I spent two years working as a nanny, so I'm very used to Magic Key books and sounding out words! I worked as an English tutor in school for National 5 and Higher levels, and I've had a lot of experience helping my parents and their friends figure out where to put a comma in a work email.
I'm currently in my final year of an MA English and Creative Writing program. My own creative work is focussed around poetry and plays, and my poetry has been featured in live readings and galleries.
Teaching and being able to inspire others is so important to me, so much so that I am hoping to get a PhD in literature so that I can stay in academia and teach at a university level.

I love all things English. Whether you want to start writing that novel because the idea's been bouncing around in your head for years or your child needs some extra help with their reading, I can help you out! I believe that everyone has the ability to write a brilliant story, sometimes they just don't know where to start.
Nothing brings me more joy than getting people interested in literature! For example, my partner LOVES Harry Potter but hates reading, so if I can get the most stubborn 24 year old around to read The Prisoner of Azkaban and actually have fun, I like to think I can spark an interest in anyone.
I understand that a traditional learning style isn't for everyone. If you feel that it's not working for you, we can absolutely come up with a solution together to ensure that you get the best tuition you can possibly get!
