I never reduce language purely to rules, since real fluency eventually depends on comfort with nuance and tone as well. What I find most rewarding is watching a hobbyist proudly share a short piece of writing they created entirely in Spanish. That personal ownership over language often means more than flawless grammar ever could.
I stay closely engaged with Spanish literature and music, regularly reading and listening purely for personal enjoyment.
