About Alex
I'm a writer by trade and a political scientist by choice. I have a political science degree from Pace University where I graduated with honors. Additionally, I have my Masters in Journalism from New York University.
Additionally, I have a proven track record in policy writing and real life activism. I've met with politicians one-on-one and worked on thorough political campaigns.

As both a writer and a political scientist, I'm able to help not only with teaching material, but also offer editing services, too.
My lessons include strong visuals, history and context setting, and test preparation. Where necessary, I can provide practice prompts to work thorough DBQs and other timed essay writing.
As a tutor in this subject, I'm still very in touch with what it's like to go through schooling with this subject. I also understand the unique pressures of learning this material in an actively stressful political climate. I offer a space where there is no dumb questions as long as there's a sense of curiosity.
I can create lesson plans for all levels, especially from middle school to undergraduate.
