About Maria
I am a current Politics and International Relations undergraduate student completing my final year at the University of Kent. I am highly independent and self-motivated, I view my character as someone who enjoys social interaction and keeping active. I have tutored three students in the last couple of years. My first student was a primary school child with disadvantages. We did math lessons once a week and he gradually progressed until he was able to work independently. My second student was a university undergraduate struggling with English, we worked for a year together to help improve her level of English and got satisfactory results at the end of the year. Lastly, I am currently helping a GCSE student with his math and French exams.

My teaching method is based on one to one interaction, daily short assessments and online activities to keep the lessons fun and entertaining! I also track progress and can introduce mock exams.
Lessons range from one to two hours depending on the level, three times a week. Each lesson will focus on reading, speaking and audiovisual activities.
