M.A Politics graduate based in Norwich looking to teach Politics/History, maths, english other subjects at home and outside

Methodology

I am a Master’s degree graduate in International Relations who is an honest, innovative and highly determined individual. Able to learn and apply new concepts whilst constantly seeking to improve knowledge and skills. Have previous experience in business, administrative, charity, retail and voluntary sectors. Am bilingual in English and Bengali. I am a good communicator who has demonstrated a high degree of initiative and self-motivation and enjoys the challenge of a busy, demanding work environment. Have also done door to door sales/campaigning work before as a professional charity fundraiser raising money for Cancer Research and other philanthropic causes. Am immediately available and can serve as a Politics/history tutor at degree level and below as well as other lessons in english, maths and other subjects at gcse's/a-levels. My techniques and methods of instruction would be teaching at home from the textbook, teaching materials as well as going to other homes. My characteristics as a tutor include being friendly, honest and punctual as well as being creative and determined to get students to succeed both at home and outside.

Background

Have no formal experience as a private home tutor but am willing to learn, have worked in schools in the past here in East Anglia including volunteering a few weeks inside a couple secondary schools in a support capacity helping out students in the classroom in a variety of subjects including maths, history, politics, geography etc etc as well as spending a few days in a primary school giving me some experience here with working with young people.

Worked in charity sales led door to door sales targeted role leading team as a charity street fundraiser all over East Anglia covering residential areas for Home Fundraising, was paid an hourly rate, worked as part of team to collect donations for Cancer Research U.K and other charities for a good cause, had to work late nights. Involved sales, communication skills, meeting sales targets, working with team members to meet sales targets/KPI's.
