About Evelyn
Many players hit a wall because they lack a consistent practice structure. I provide a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum during your week. We refine your acoustic technique and electric technique while ensuring your progress aligns with your long-term goals. Drawing on my MMus Vocal Performance, I treat the guitar as a voice that requires careful listening and rhythmic accuracy.

Sometimes I find that explaining technical guitar concepts is harder than playing them. I hold a MMus Vocal Performance, which gives me a unique perspective on musicality and structural discipline. My 13 years of experience have allowed me to refine my teaching method. I have successfully taught 393 students during this time.
I specialise in acoustic technique, songwriting, and electric technique. I also enjoy helping players with tuning and maintenance, grade exam prep, and reading tabs. My lessons are designed to handle strumming patterns and general musicianship for adults, returning learners, advanced learners, teens, and self-taught players.
