About Deborshi
Learning from the best of teachers from the premier institutes of the country instilled in me the art of analytical thinking. It's not about solving many problems but thinking about many ways to solve one problem. It's about spending time with a problem analyzing and comparing different scenarios and visualizing the phenomena that is being studied. I aspire to share my knowledge by a method of learning as a process of asking a series of right questions in the right sequence in order to instill complete clarity in understanding without leaving behind any questions or doubts in the mind of the student. In a high-paced world with a plethora of options, mechanical learning of concepts and formulas creates more mental fatigue. I intend to create the lessons as joyful mental workouts, stimulating further curiosity and developing deeper interest in your mind enabling you to apply these insights in real-world problem solving.

Economics studies complex real-world phenomena and addresses the problems and issues we see around us every day. In my classes, I break down this subject into simple, clear ideas and explain core concepts through logic, graphs, and equations. Step by step, we connect these smaller ideas to build a strong understanding of the bigger picture. Students also learn to apply theory to past and present economic issues, developing analytical and critical thinking skills for real problem-solving. We also learn the Quantitative Methods essential for advanced courses. The course is suitable for Introductory and Intermediate college levels and for exams with Economics as a subject (such as CFA, MBA, etc.). I also teach Management Accounting for MBA programs.
