About Daniel

I'm Dan, a 19 year old from Sheffield who finished his A-levels in June 2026. I got rejected from the University of Oxford in 2025, which was a blow to my self-confidence and motivation. Despite currently living in Auckland, New Zealand, as a cricketer, I want to carry on from my 2 years of tutoring experience, helping people back home maintain their own self-confidence through both their successes and their failures, no matter how big or small.

About the lesson

Having finished my A-levels in June 2026, I am well aware of the difficulties students face with school work, revision and everything else that goes with it. My aim is always for students to come away from lessons having not only improved academically, but also developing as people, curious about the world around them! (This tends to help relieve some academic stress!) I offer a personal approach, where I relate school work to life scenarios. This helps to build pictures in our heads that can ultimately be applied to exam techniques. My lessons are process driven, allowing for hard work in a pressure-off environment.
