My teaching methodology is largely student centred, after getting to know a student and understanding their strengths and weaknesses, I can tweak lessons to suit their needs. I am very calm and patient and enjoy relaxed and conversational lessons as I belive this usually fosters a welcoming learning environment. I think that looking at the students essays/work together is also particularly important as we can work through areas that demonstrate any need of attention.
I have recently graduated with a first in Film Studies and am now studying my masters at Leeds University. I achieved an A* in History and Philosophy at A level and a B in English. I have been tutoring a level students since the start of my undergraduate degree and teach English as a foreign language to chilldren aged 5-16.
