About Josiah
Hi, I'm Josiah! I've been tutoring students for a few years now (150+ tutorials and counting!) both in person and online, and I'm ready to help you achieve your learning goals! When we get started, I'll spend the first 15 minutes getting to know you and establishing some learning goals for our sessions. This way, as we work towards them, we can check that we're making good progress. If you don't understand something, let me know straight away and I'll try teaching it a different way.

I like to use a variety of resources to help my students understand concepts well! Not every approach works for every student, so I make my tutorials highly interactive and get feedback on what is working and what is not. My lessons typically run for an hour, but we can arrange different lengths if needed. I've got a BSc majoring in neuroscience and am currently studying medicine at the University of Otago. I've tutored a wide range of students over the past few years and am ready to help you reach your learning goals!
