My teaching method is positive reinforcement on self-learning, I assist via prompting questions and encouraging independent learning by giving the tools and then catering the approach to the student, some students will very independently jump to an answer when given the materials, others need to be shown and others know answers but struggle with their methodology.
I attune my teaching to the specific needs by understanding their behaviour and playing to their strengths to try and combat weaknesses.
I am a graduate in BA Philosophy ( 2:1) academically, my background is in analytical and critical subjects, being: Psychology, Law and Philosophy/Ethics all of which I studied at A level.
Whilst at university I helped with the teaching to the first years, through peer assisted learning (PAL) this was to individuals and groups to reinforce course topics and answer questions and practice essay and exam techniques.
I am studying for my Masters which will lead into a PhD and onto academic research and teaching.
I am happy to assist with most subjects pertaining to Sciences; Humanities and English.
