I offer a friendly and approachable style to teaching, allowing learning to co-inside with jokes and laughter. Being a student myself, I understand that sometimes strict book work and seriousness does not always equal the best outcome.
I tend to start lessons by re-capping the previous session, allowing the student to get back into the mindset of what we are covering. From here I ask the student what areas of the content they feel like they need the most work and go from there.
I typically use online resources, but you cannot go wrong with a good study guide.
I am currently studying a Masters degree in Philosophy, and hold a 1st class degree in Philosophy, Religion, and Ethics. As part of my undergraduate I spent roughly 70 hours teaching RE to years 7-13 and so I am comfortable tutoring a range of ages.
