About Djordje
I was born in Serbia and from the very beginning of my education I was very ambitious and won prizes in several national and international competitions including I Prize at The 46th International Piano Contest `Virtuosi Per Musica di pianoforte` in The Czech Republic, III Prize at The International Competition for Young Pianists in memory of Vladimir Horowitz in Ukraine, III Prize at The VI International Piano Competition A.D.Artobolevskaya in Russia, I Prize at Concours Breughel in Belgium. I took part in festivals such as NIMUS Music Festival in Serbia, Festival du Vexin and Les Concerts de Poche in France, LacMus festival in Italy and Domaine Forget in Canada. In October 2016, I became an artist in residence at The Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, Waterloo, Belgium, while obtaining my Bachelor of Music degree at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I appeared as a soloist in venues such as Brugge Concertgebouw, Antwerp deSingel Internationale Kunstcampus, Flagey, and Wigmore Hall. I am currently a postgraduate student at the Royal College of Music where I am generously supported by a full scholarship. I always strive towards constantly improving myself, and teaching and sharing my knowledge with others is certainly a way to achieving that.
