Hello and thank you for considering me as your Tutor.
I am a Film and Creative Writing graduate with 5 years of experience working as a workshop facilitator, learning support assistant and mentor within SEND and mainstream contexts.
In the past, I facilitated various art clubs and art-based workshops some of which were tailored to support socio-communication skills in mainstream SEND pupils. I prefer taking on a holistic approach to teaching, which is why I often employ mindfulness techniques in my lessons and workshops.
Additionally, I run adult and children workshops in life drawing, where I teach experimental ways of drawing as well as capturing the human proportions.
My students always achieve their set targets and beyond, with many studying Art at A-level.
I am currently on my PGCE year, qualifying to be an Art and Design teacher at Goldsmiths, this means my knowledge of the current exam specifications and assessment objectives is up-to-date which allows me to provide relevant support to those wanting to achieve better results in their GCSE or A-level exams and coursework.
I am a practising artist as well as mindfulness (MiSP) qualified teacher.
