About Allison
Hi, I’m Allie, a passionate and dedicated tutor with a strong commitment to helping students unlock their full academic potential. With experience working with learners of all ages and abilities, I specialize in creating personalized, engaging, and results-driven lessons tailored to each student’s unique learning style. As mentioned before, my experience started with teaching as a substitute teacher, and I recently was able to travel abroad to Thailand. Here, I worked at a hospital in the mornings, and taught English to kids from ages 6-16 in the afternoons. I also specialize in helping with college application or scholarship essays. This can be accredited to the full ride scholarship I earned to my university by competing in several steps of an essay competition. My approach goes beyond just improving grades—I focus on building confidence, critical thinking skills, and independent learning habits that last a lifetime. Whether we're tackling challenging material or reinforcing foundational concepts, I aim to make every session productive, supportive, and empowering. I believe that with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement, every student can succeed—and I’m here to help make that happen.
