About Navya
I am a pre-medical student at Duke University, and have taken over 22 APs prior to college. This academic rigor has taught me the best ways to learn, and also to teach. I believe true learning occurs with a strong foundation, and a deep understanding of concepts, as opposed to simply memorizing methods and formulas. I identify my students needs and preferences, and work to teach them in a way that will help them be successful academically in the future as well. I have had over 20 students in a variety of humanities and STEM subjects, and all have reported very positive results as a due to our tutoring sessions. This experience allows me to be able to tutor each student in a way which is ideal for them.

As someone who has taken 22 AP courses and exams, and tutored students in all subjects and ages ranging from 6 years old, to college students, I have learned that everyone has a different learning style.
