About Dr Ayisha
Namaste, dear students. My name is DR. Isha , and I am honored to be your guide on this journey into the rich world of Ayurveda and yoga. With a background as a doctor in Ayurveda, holding a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree, I bring to you not just years of academic training but also a deep-rooted passion for holistic healing and well-being.
Ayurveda, often referred to as the 'science of life,' encompasses a comprehensive understanding of the human body, mind, and spirit. It emphasizes the importance of balance and harmony in all aspects of our existence. And at the heart of Ayurveda lies yoga – a timeless practice that offers not only physical benefits but also mental and spiritual nourishment.
As we embark on this journey together, I am excited to share with you the profound wisdom of yoga, as it intertwines seamlessly with the principles of Ayurveda. We will delve into the various aspects of yoga – from asanas (physical postures) to pranayama (breath control), from dhyana (meditation) to yoga nidra (yogic sleep).
Through our exploration, we will not only learn the techniques but also understand the underlying philosophy that guides these practices.
