About CAITLYN
I am originally from Portland, Oregon and moved out here to swim in college! I grew up loving to swim, run, and spend time with friends exploring the city.
Once I moved to Arizona, I spent the first four years dedicated to the sport and school, and I am now working on exploring the great state of AZ.

I like to make sure whoever is being taught is getting what they want from the lesson. I cater to either being the fun instructor or the more serious coach; whichever is preferred. A typical lesson plan will consist of going over what you would like to work on, seeing your swimming in action, and determining next steps from there. We will of course work up the yardage as the lessons continue, but the first session will be establishing a base.
I believe my past experience as a club, highschool, and college swimmer have helped me hone in on techniques for all strokes and distances, as well as an understanding that everyone needs to be coached differently. I can help assist with any level of swimming, although I have instructed mostly swimmers between the ages of 6-18.
