About Zia
I’m a friendly and patient college student who enjoys helping primary school children with Maths and English. I want to teach because I like making learning feel easier and less stressful. I always explain things step by step and make sure students feel comfortable asking questions. My aim is to help students feel confident in their abilities and proud of their progress.

I do one-on-one sessions with children from Year 3 to Year 8 who need help with English and maths. A typical lesson would last an hour. I have completed my GCSEs with a Grade 4 in maths and a Grade 5 in English language and English literature. I also have previous experience from working in a primary school and I believe that I can explain things well and make sure the child understands.
