About Natalie
My name is Natalie, and my students call me Miss L. I’m a primary teacher based in Leeds, with 8 years of experience tutoring maths right up to GCSE level. I grew up in southern Spain, but I know exactly how overwhelming maths can feel because I found it really tough myself at school. That’s why I teach: I want to show every learner that maths isn’t something you’re “naturally good or bad at”, it’s just something you learn in your own way. I’m here to break tricky ideas down, build your confidence step by step, and help you go from feeling stuck to feeling proud of what you can do.

I know firsthand how overwhelming maths can feel, because I struggled with it myself when I was at school! That’s why I build every lesson around your child’s needs, fears and pace – no confusing jargon, no rushing, and no feeling “stupid” for getting things wrong. We use fun, real-life examples and simple steps to turn tricky topics into wins, helping them feel calm, capable and actually ready to try maths again. I’ve spent 8 years adapting my approach to unlock confidence and skills for every primary learner, turning “I can’t do this” into “I get it now!
