About Matt
Hello, I am Matt. I am passionate about teaching. I will do everything I can to build your child's confidence, where previously it might have been lacking, and inspire a love of learning. My other passions in life include listening to and making music. I share a love of animals with my six year old son and smile every time he teaches me something new! My family and I have recently moved to the Annecy area. I love hiking and I can't wait to explore this beautiful part of the world some more.

I have 22 years’ experience teaching in a range of Primary schools in the UK, including roles as Deputy Head Teacher. I am also an experienced Special Needs Coordinator. I have taught children aged five to eleven years old. I have a background in creative learning approaches, as well as proven experience working with pupils who find learning a subject difficult. I love to see children excited by their learning. I aim to bring creativity and innovation into my teaching, building on children’s interests and likes, as well as my own. I also understand the value of the tutor/child relationship and use my experience to build trust and rapport quickly. Let me know if I can help!
