About Gianna
Gianna is a choreographer from California and based in Virginia Beach currently. With a BA in Sex and Gender Studies from Fresno State and an MFA candidate from Wilson College, with a focus in choreography. Her credits include guest performances in *A Nutcracker Like No Other*, LACDC showcases, and commercials for Chukchansi Resort. She has also performed in Fresno State’s Contemporary Dance Ensemble and worked as a guest artist and choreographer for Fresno City College. Gianna has won choreography awards and created several winning contemporary routines for Yosemite Dance Company. Her choreography includes shows like *Guys and Dolls*, *Newsies*, *Freaky Friday*, *The Addams Family*, *Hadestown*, *Seussical the Musical* and *The Sound of Music*, including Clovis West’s only championship title for “Shipoopi” from *The Music Man*. A dedicated educator, Gianna has taught ballet and jazz at Roosevelt High School and currently teaches dance with Central Unified School District. She also works with local high schools, choreographing musical theater productions and teaching at Rave Dance Complex. Gianna is a founding member of (Kin)esphere Dance Project, a freelance choreographer, and the artistic director of Manzanita Dance Collective in Visalia, CA. She continues to pursue advanced training and new projects.

Perfect! Gianna is an exceptional teacher. Even though I arrived 22 minutes late, she adapted the lesson without making me feel rushed, still delivered a well-structured class, and even offered extra time despite the lesson being unpaid. I loved her focus on strong foundations and injury prevention. Kind, patient, professional and highly recommended! 🩰
