About Paf
I am 21 years old, I was born in Mexico City where I grew up and began to develop my passion for music. I started to learn how to play the drums early in my life at the age of 7, I then started learning guitar at the age of 10, I was self-taught for the most part, but I also took private lessons to develop my skills. At the age 18 I left my home to study a Certificate in Popular Music Performance at Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California. Where I was exposed to a wider range of musical genres and formal education and training that expanded my views about the drum kit and music in general. When I started studying at ICMP I quickly discovered that this experience was not only going to guide my practice as a musician, but also give me new tools for learning and reflecting to gain insight through my own practice and experience, and these are tools that I would love to share with new generations.
