With years of experience as both a performer and educator, I incorporate Tai Chi Chuan-based body awareness techniques to help students play with ease, power, and precision. This approach minimizes tension, improves endurance, and allows for greater speed and agility without unnecessary strain. Whether you want to master the drum set, orchestral percussion, or hand percussion, my lessons will provide the skills and confidence to excel in any musical setting.
What to Expect in a Typical Lesson Each lesson is tailored to the student's level and goals, but a typical session includes:
Warm-up & Technique Development – Exercises to improve stick control, hand speed, foot independence, and dynamic range.
