About Niamh
I have been teaching swimming for several years and have worked with swimmers of all ages and abilities. Whether teaching young beginners, adults building confidence in the water, or swimmers aiming to improve performance, I always focus on creating a supportive, personalised, and enjoyable coaching environment.
Swimming has been a huge part of my life from a young age. As a former competitive swimmer, I understand how important technique, confidence, and consistency are, not only for performance but also for developing a genuine enjoyment of the sport.
I offer both private 1:1 coaching and small group sessions of up to four swimmers, with each session tailored to suit individual goals and learning styles. Sessions can be from 30mins- 1 hour, depending on your preferences. My teaching combines years of experience, technical knowledge, and methods developed through high-level coaching environments.
Alongside in-person coaching, I also create custom swimming training plans online. This includes an initial consultation to understand each swimmer’s goals, ability, and training background, followed by a fully personalised development programme. These plans are designed to provide structure, progression, and clear direction, and can be adjusted over time as the swimmer develops.
Above all, I am passionate about helping others build confidence in the water and create the same positive memories and love for swimming that I gained growing up in the sport.

I offer private 1:1 swimming coaching for all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to competitive swimmers looking to improve technique, endurance, speed, and overall performance.

Having competed myself, I understand both the technical and mental side of swimming. I use the same high-level methods and principles that were taught to me, adapting them to suit each swimmer individually.
I am Swim England Level 1 and Level 2 qualified swimming teacher with several years of coaching experience. Every swimmer has different goals, learning styles, strengths, and areas for development. Whether the focus is water confidence, stroke correction, fitness, or long-term progression, sessions are tailored specifically to the individual.
Swimming has been a huge part of my life from a young age, and I know how valuable the sport can be — not only as a life skill, but also for confidence, discipline, fitness, and enjoyment. My goal is to help others build both strong swimming ability and positive experiences in the water.
