Geoff is an exceptional educator. I say this because of Geoff's passion for learning, natural curiosity, command of the topics under exploration, commitment to student wellbeing and student growth, as well as his genuine interest in each individual learner as a person. When asked 'Who is your favourite teacher?' our two teenage children immediately named Geoff, and our youngest is looking forward to the time when she is old enough to have him as her teacher too. Our children have found new academic interests through Geoff. They have gained a deeper appreciation for history, economic and for literature through Geoff. Their skills in writing, thinking, and public speaking have improved, as has their confidence. They have shared a lot of laughs with Geoff too! As a teacher educator for over a decade, I've had the privilege of working with hundreds of aspiring teachers, as well as with people at all levels of school and system leadership. There are very few people in this field who've earned my trust and admiration like Geoff.
