About Sonya
I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2020 and started teaching virtually at the beginning of the pandemic. I started with group classes, a private client, and one corporate client. I have been teaching to the same core group of students since then and in 2023 a few of them went on my Chile yoga retreat. I love my community and have space to welcome some new private clients.
In 2023 I completed a yin yoga certification and have been teaching it for 1.5 years. I've been running for over 25 years and yin yoga is an excellent yoga practice for runners and cyclists or anyone active!

I love teaching new students, athletes, and older adults who are looking for yoga classes that will get them started, effectively complement their sports as relaxed cross-training, or want to stay mobile and agile as they get older.
A typical class is 50-60 minutes and tailored toward your goals and needs. I make sure that I sequence classes to stretch your whole body and mind and leave you feeling refreshed and recharged at the end of class. The best results come from 2-3 classes per week.
