My teaching method is dependent on the student and how they would like to learn. When teaching I usually start with the basics and fundamentals of the subject and then move to more in-depth materials. I use practical examples and focus on how things work. If you know how something works you will know its advantages and limitations and you can improve on its functionality. I believe that every complex system can be broken down into smaller and simpler sub-devices which can be investigated individually. If you have an idea you would like to bring to life but you don't have the technical skills, I can help you develop your skills from scratch and help you reach a point where you have a working prototype and we can even work towards getting your idea to productions.
I have a BSc in Robotics and 3 master's degrees (Mechatronics, Embedded Systems (computer vision) and Sensors & Systems). I have 10 years of experience in product design and development and am currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Edinburgh. I have my own product design and development company and have experience in developing a range of products. I have developed multiple products some of which include robots, biosensors, consumer electronics, industrial products, tools, healthcare products, etc.
I have won more than 15 national and international awards for my research and product development. Below are a few of my achievements:
- 6 national patents and 2 international patent applications (patent pending)
- Winner of international Biosensor competitions SensUs 2018
- Winner of Scottish Edge Wildcard award
- Building the world's first lifeguard drone (featured in more than 300 news platforms e.g. Discovery Channel, BBC, etc.)
- Awarded 1st prize in Bright Ideas Competition, Kingston University
