About James

I am a bass guitar and guitar player who has been playing, performing and writing music for over a decade. I have a Higher National Diploma in Music Performance (bass guitar) and have been touring the UK, playing major festivals and writing/recording original music in many different projects for the last seven years.

About the lesson

I tailor each lesson to suit the student, because everyone's approach to music and learning is different. I work with you to understand how best you learn and then build a lesson plan around that. I cover everything in as simple and as understandable a way as possible and build through the levels of theory, technique and performance at the student's pace, keeping my lessons full and engaging and most of all fun.

Perfect! James has been teaching my sister Bass guitar for a few months now and she very much enjoys his lessons. I appreciate that he is able to keep her motivated whilst making the material challenging.
