Of my adult students, one begun painting lessons with me, familiarising with more techniques and branching out creatively to paint unique murals through her entire home.

Perfect! I studied with Alisavo while I was at college. I studied fashion and textiles however my cource also included a lot of drawing, something that I knew I needed to work on. Alisavo was excellent at helping me with my technique. I was shown how to make an image look realistic but also to stylise a drawing which was helpful for my work which included a lot of fashion drawings. Her skills as an artist are undiniable along with her passion for art. As my studies started to change Alisavo was able to show me new mediums as I moved into more digital works, showing me the ropes with indesign and photoshop. We even went on a photoshoot where I learnt so much and had the most fun. Alisavo helped me so much with the transition from college to University both with work, helping me with my portfolio and emotionally calming me down when I got stressed with the process. My lessons with Alisavo were invaluble and I am so glad that I found her.
I came to study in the UK, but even though I studied a lot and understood all the concepts of my course well and had the analytical thinking ability necessary for my course, my first essays were marked down massively due to grammar and sentence structure mistakes, while I also found it somewhat challenging to express myself in English as well as I could in my mother language. I looked for a local teacher who could help me and I met Alisavo. We had writing and speaking lessons together and in a few months I could see the improvement in my marks at the university, while I also became more confident in conversations within and outside of my course. Alisavo took a lot of time to not only explain to me the best way to phrase something, but also the reason why it is that way and that enabled me to continue my studies on my own as well, at a much faster pace than before. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in a similar situation!
I was always into art and I dappled with various paints over the years, my own private little hobby, but eventually felt I’d like a professional insight into various techniques and how they vary from medium to medium to achieve the result I wanted. I looked for online lessons, as I don’t drive and I found Alisavo. I chose her because she could instruct in a variety of mediums, and I was mostly interested in acrylic and oil painting. Her approach was very hands on, even though we had our lessons through Skype and in a few weeks time, I not only saw a difference in my work, but also my perception and the way I was now looking at the world, in terms of colours, shape and shadows. Alisavo always told me “aim high, reach high” and with her instruction I gradually felt a lot more confident in taking myself seriously as an artist. When my partner suggested we try some freshening up in our flat, I got struck with an idea and Alisavo encouraged me to take this as a challenge and an opportunity and I did. With her tips I not only painted my own flat, but I went into a full-blown mural painting spree and now my flat has a special painting in each room. Alisavo, you gave me a whole new perspective in life, thank you, my darling!
Alisavo is a well-qualified teacher who develops an excellent rapport with her students. More specifically she taught my son drawing, particularly life drawing /anatomy and Photoshop. She tuned in to his creative aspirations and was able to bring out the best in him. His inclination towards anime became the starting point. At the time he was writing an anime storyboard. Respectful of his desire to illustrate it she taught him skills relating to character and environment design. Since, he has developed these further to the extent that it has become his vocation to follow in her footsteps, and is presently applying to SAE Greece for a BA in Game Art and Animation, the school Alisavo was attending at the time she was teaching him. I am also grateful for the mentoring that was offered during those early teen years. Furthermore he has inspired other friends to follow his paradigm.
People who know the situation here in Greece know that it is really hard for young people to find a job, even more create their own business. I was determined to achieve my goals though, and so I bought books and online courses to help me obtain the required skills to build my own website.
The problem here is the fact that I could not understand what people in the videos where saying. I lacked listening and speaking practice. That's where Alisavo came in. She trained me, pro bono since I was really bad financially at that time, and helped me nail my dream job. Now I am working at an international firm (the advertising giant, "OMD") and I am developing my own business as a SEO consultant.
All the above could not be possible if it wasn't for Alisavo. She is a tenacius and dedicated teacher. You want to nail at your interview and your job? Then you need Alisavo.
Miss Alisavo was an incredible tutor whose interactive and original lessons helped me go through not only the exams for the English language (up to Cambridge proficiency) but more importantly were instrumental in getting me accepted into Glasgow University in Scotland. The lessons were always interesting, diverse and covered all aspects of the language and as for Alisavo herself she was always approachable and patient. I wholeheartedly recommend her as a tutor as she can do wonders.
Thanks to her I got the chance to discover a hidden talent, and learned how to make the most out of it. That being said, right now I am considering studying art, specifically manga and animation.
