About Noemi
I started teaching cello lessons in college where I was working toward a performance degree in music. I went on to perform in symphony orchestras in Texas and Georgia, and eventually earned a Master's Degree in Music Education where I became certified to teach orchestra in public school. After 7 years of orchestra teaching, I went on to earn my AMI Montessori Primary certification when I had a desire to teach all subjects, including music, at the preschool level. I am now teaching along with my husband at my music store in North Georgia, while we are also homeschooling our 9-year-old son.

I have been an orchestra teacher for over 30 years, and recently owned and operated a Montessori in-home daycare where I worked with preschool infants and children including my adopted son. I have a Bachelors Degree in Cello Performance, a Masters Degree in Music Education, and an AMI Montessori Primary Certification. We will cover music fundamentals and music history in addition to performance techniques, and I mostly want my students to enjoy making music.
