Professional cellist with more than 15 years of teaching experience in South-West London

Andrew is a fantastic tutor. He has a wealth of experience and training, which he shares with patience and enthusiasm. After a lesson with Andrew I always feel confident, capable, and inspired! I can’t recommend him enough!

I’d recommend Andrew to anyone in a heartbeat! Not only is he incredibly proficient at his cello, but his interpersonal skills, as a teacher, are top-notch. To start: Andrew is punctual, chilled and comes with quite a flexible schedule, so arranging sessions with him is always easy. He’s also patient, understanding, encouraging, attentive and clearly passionate about playing.

From Andrew, I’ve learned that it’s not just about getting my physical techniques right, it’s also about the mental conditioning and how to achieve more with less.

I guess what keeps me coming back is his passion and love for cello teaching. I’ve had a couple of other teachers who didn’t care and clearly wanted my money, but Andrew continuously shows up for me and reminds me why practicing long term is so worth it. Thanks to him, I feel like I can reach a level of excellence that I never could've fathomed before. Definitely give him a try.
