About Beatrice
I've been a professional freelance cellist for 13 years and have built up a varied studio of students over the years - ranging from adults to children, beginner to advanced level.
I have taught in schools working with students towards graded exams, and have taught many students who just want to play for fun, or for a hobby.

I have an active approach to teaching, and I try to manage every angle of cello playing - the technical difficulties and the musicality in a fresh way, using images and analogies to create an all rounded musician. I try to inspire my students the best I can so that everyone can appreciate music as an art.
I think it's important to understand that every musician is different and we all learn in different ways so I try to adapt my teaching to suit the individual so to better connect with them.

Perfect! Beatrice is an excellent tutor. After observing me play a couple of pieces she was able to give me several really useful insights in terms of improving my technique.
