About Can
Hi, I’m Can — an English tutor who focuses on practical, confidence-building lessons that make learning feel natural and enjoyable. I’m passionate about helping students speak, write, and understand English fluently, whether that’s for exams, travel, or day-to-day life. Being bilingual myself, I know how tough it can be to learn a new language — so I break things down in a simple, no-stress way that actually makes sense. My lessons are interactive, flexible, and tailored to each student’s needs. Outside of tutoring, I’m a business student (BTEC Level 3), which gives me a strong foundation in communication and teaching skills. I’m patient, easy to talk to, and always focused on making sure my students feel comfortable and confident.

My Approach to English Tutoring I believe learning English shouldn’t feel like a chore — it should feel practical, personal, and actually relevant to your goals. Whether you're learning for school, work, or just to feel more confident when you speak, I adapt each lesson to fit your level and pace. How I Teach (My Methodology) I focus on real conversation and everyday language — not robotic textbook phrases. Lessons are interactive, with a mix of speaking, listening, writing, and vocab building. I break down grammar in a way that’s simple and relatable. I tailor every session based on your needs — whether that’s improving writing, passing an exam, or sounding more fluent in conversation. Typical Lesson Length Each lesson is 60 minutes, which gives us plenty of time to practise, ask questions, and review progress without feeling rushed. I also offer 30-minute sessions for quick refreshers or focused skills like pronunciation or writing. My Qualifications & Experience I’ve been tutoring English privately for 2 years. I’ve worked with students from beginner to advanced — including GCSE, A-Level, and adult learners. As a bilingual speaker (Turkish/English), I especially understand the challenges second-language learners face and how to overcome them quickly.
