About Riya
With 9 years of teaching experience, I have trained over 1240 students ranging from complete beginners to aspiring software professionals. Many students have successfully completed university projects, secured internships, improved programming confidence, and developed practical coding skills that support their academic and career ambitions.
I enjoy transforming programming into an enjoyable learning experience where students feel comfortable asking questions and experimenting with new ideas. My teaching focuses on building practical programming skills through continuous coding rather than passive learning. Every concept is introduced using real programming examples before moving toward structured exercises that strengthen logical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Lessons are customized according to individual goals, whether students are preparing for examinations, university coursework, technical interviews, or software development careers.
Students work on coding challenges, debugging exercises, mini applications, algorithms, database tasks, and project-based learning activities. I explain programming concepts step by step while encouraging learners to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Continuous feedback helps students understand mistakes quickly and improve coding confidence.
As learners advance, they explore Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, software engineering principles, APIs, and full project development. I also provide guidance for assignments, portfolios, interview preparation, and industry-standard development practices that prepare students for professional opportunities.
