About Roger
I am currently Brisbane based, I have a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance from Griffith University, Master's degree in Piano Performance from University of Music Karlsruhe (HfM Karlsruhe, Germany), and a PhD in performance and philosophy from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. I have over 20 years of piano teaching experience with students from the age of 4 to the age of 60 +.
John Thompson Methods, Yamaha Music Education Methods, Creative Methods that suits your personal needs. My recent student success include first prize in Queensland Piano Competition (two consecutive years), successful completion of AMEB from grade 2 to A.Mus & L.Mus (Theory included), invitation to perform with Richard Claydman and performing at piano festivals in Switzerland.
Lessons can be conducted in three amounts: 30 min, 45 min and 60 min.

One on One lessons will be catered to the specific needs of the student.
A focus point can be on AMEB, ABRSM, or Trinity College of London Examination. However, music is much more than just for exams. It is an expression of life.
I would like to encourage my students to learn to appreciate this special form of human expression in order to prepare their mentality to reach the best possible results in all other aspects of life.
