About Rachel
I graduated high school a year early from the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, OH to dance with Dance Theatre of Harlem in New York City. That year I broke my ankle, and my career almost ended. Through two years of physical therapy I was able to get back to dancing professionally, but this time in modern and contemporary companies. I have worked with choreographers Joan Miller, Elisa Monte, Nejla Yatkin, Annmaria Mazzini, Babs Case, Francesca Romo, and Gina Patterson. I have studied at Peridance, Gibney, Dance New Amsterdam, Alvin Ailey, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Ballet Met and more.

I teach from my experience as a life long student and a professional dancer. I work best with students who have a real passion for learning dance and expressing their authentic selves. Classes always begin with a thoughtful warm-up and build upon your skill level, and are geared towards your personal dancing goals.
