About Joy
My name is Joy, A Diction coach & Elocutionist. I chose teaching as a profession because I love the impact one can have on individual children, especially here at the elementary level. Of course it’s a great responsibility, but at the same time I cannot imagine devoting my life to something else, especially since I love being around children–which is likely the second reason why I want to be a teacher. In my view, teaching is more a mission than a job really, especially in the uncertain times we live nowadays. I cannot wait to be your teacher.

Hello potential students My name is Joy, A Diction coach, I'm a good listener; I pick up clues from my students' speech and understand their feelings. I'm flexible; I'm willing to adjust to techniques and approaches to meet the learning style of my students. I'm patient, because I quite understand what is obviously easy for me, may not be so for my students. I'm a collaborator; I understand the tutor-student relationship as a partnership and not just as the instructor. I think I have said way too much! Let's get to learning!
