About Alec
With over 11 years of tutoring experience, I have helped more than 330 students become confident users of Microsoft Excel. I teach High School and College students using practical examples that make learning simple and enjoyable.
My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding before memorization. I explain every concept clearly, provide regular practice, and encourage students to think independently. I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance and consistent support.
I teach formulas, functions, PivotTables, charts, dashboards, spreadsheet management, and data analysis. I also help with reports, assignments, projects, presentations, and office productivity. Helping students improve their confidence and achieve their academic goals has been the most rewarding part of my teaching career.

I follow a student-centered teaching approach based on collaboration, empathy, and open-mindedness. Every learner has different goals and abilities, so I customize my lessons to suit individual learning needs. My Excel training includes formulas, functions, PivotTables, charts, dashboards, lookup functions, conditional formatting, spreadsheet design, data analysis, reporting, and productivity techniques. I also teach Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, note preparation, report writing, assignments, project work, and presentation skills. My lessons combine theory with practical activities to ensure students gain useful real-world knowledge.
I believe learning should be practical rather than memorizing concepts. I encourage students to complete exercises, solve real problems, and improve gradually with personalized guidance. My objective is to prepare students for examinations, higher education, internships, and future employment.
