About Naomi
I am an actively gigging professional flute player in LA. I've received 10 years classical flute training. During my training, I was ranked one of the best flute players in Wisconsin in 2016 and placed as first chair of the Mead Witter School of Music. While I was receiving my classical training, I gigged as a jazz flute player and taught flute lessons. In 2022, I started producing my own music and gigging as a soul and pop flute player in LA. I have played at the York, Tiny Room, Zebulon, and the Viper Room, to name a few. I am also an active musical artist with experience in the music industry, under my artist name NOAMZ.
I have over 10 years experience coaching young people, and absolutely love working with students and guiding them on their musical journey.

Every student learns differently and I embrace my student's learning style in lessons! We will set bimonthly goals together (i.e. learning a certain piece, mastering a certain technique...), and then I will tailor my lesson plan based on our goals and what I have seen works with you: A typical lesson plan would be: 1) warm up 2) student plays what they have been practicing 3) feedback and support 4) practice 5) top line notes and what to practice for the coming week My lessons grow students' abilities in important flute playing skills like intonation, finger dexterity, and musicality, but also, most importantly, in building up their confidence as individuals to play the flute. With practice and focus, you can achieve so much.

Noamz is a wonderful, attentive, and enthusiastic soul whose passion for music is inspiring. From classical to improvisational, she’s a true pro and it’s always a joy to hear her perform and talk about her craft. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to learn this magical instrument.
Noamz helped my daughter prepare for her high school Solo Ensemble competition. She was very patient and helped my daughter progress technically and overcome her stress when performing in front of the judges. My daughter did well and advanced to the state competition. I'll re-hire Noamz any time!
