About Uge
I am a professional Flute tutor with more than 11 years of teaching experience. I teach School students, College students, and working professionals who want to learn flute for education or personal interest.
My tutoring method is supportive, clear, and goal-oriented. I focus on correct breathing, posture, finger movement, tone quality, and rhythm accuracy. Each lesson is customised to suit the student’s learning needs.
In addition to flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm exercises, ear training, and scale practice. I also assist students with exam preparation and performance confidence.
One of my unique strengths is my ability to guide students patiently and motivate them to practise regularly. My goal is to help students enjoy learning music.

My teaching methodology for flute is designed to make learning simple, effective, and enjoyable through clear communication and creative instruction. I explain flute techniques clearly and support learning with demonstrations and practical exercises. Students are encouraged to ask questions and stay actively involved in the learning process.
Creativity is included in every lesson through creative warm-ups, rhythm activities, tone-building exercises, and expressive music practice. I adapt lesson plans based on individual student needs, progress, and learning style.
Flute training includes breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading, with focus on healthy playing habits.
In addition to flute, I teach related subjects such as music theory, note reading, rhythm training, ear training, and basic performance skills to strengthen overall musical understanding.
