About Praveenkumar
Hi,
This is Praveen. I had worked as a Production Officer in the Food Industry for the past 4 years and 10 months, where I was handling the Operations in Food Industries. I had completed my Masters in Food Processing from Periyar University in 2015, where I secured a University level 2nd rank. I did B.Tech(Food Process Engineering) from TNAU, Coimbatore. I consider Food Processing as a Passion rather than a profession, which makes me good in this discipline.
I am certified in FSSC 22000 V.5 from BSI for Lead Auditor. I have hands-on experience in conducting internal audits in my last company(Accelerated Freeze-drying Co. ltd).
In my B. Tech graduation, I have submitted my thesis on the process of extending the shelf-life of shredded coconuts, where the study about the shelf life of coconut was conducted at varying temperatures and storage conditions.
You could contact me for Guidance on projects related to Food Processing since I have good exposure to research and development in top Research organizations like DFRL, Mysore.
I have completed my research project at the Defence Food Research Lab in Mysore under the Guidance of Scientist Dr. Nadanasabapathi in 2015, where I had conducted research on the Physiochemical Properties of Tapioca starch.
Though I don't have any prior teaching experience, I am sure I could be a good tutor, since I have Industrial knowledge combined with my Academics. Moreover, I am passionate enough to teach, which makes any profession enjoyable, and succeed in that.
